Shirley Ann (Sapp) Andrews, 89, of Sykesville, MD passed away to her eternal rest on July 18, 2025. She was born October 31, 1935 in Creston, NC to parents Ronda and Rose Ham Sapp. Her father moved the family to Conowingo, MD, where she was raised. She worked at the country and bluegrass music venue, The New River Ranch, where she worked at the hot dog stand and met many famous country musicians. She was a school bus safety patrol member for her school, Rising Sun High School. In 1953 she left school to marry Raymond W. Andrews, a State Trooper at the Conowingo Barracks who was being transferred and asked her to come with him. They married on Dec. 5, 1953 at Conowingo Baptist Church. They moved to Carroll County in 1958 and had three children, Dianne Lorraine, Raymond Craig and Daniel Patrick. She sold Sarah Coventry jewelry in the 1960's and worked at Springfield State Hospital diet kitchen during the 1970's. She was the epitome of Southern hospitality, a loving, kind and gentle spirit who was constantly giving.

She was predeceased by her by her parents Ronda and Rose Sapp, husband Raymond Andrews, son Raymond Craig Andrews, brothers Ronda Sapp Jr., Dean Sapp and Wayne Sapp, granddaughter Katie Lynne Andrews, and grandson Nathan Andrew Blizzard; daughter in laws Tammy Leister Andrews and Carolyn Andrews, cousin Beulah Wyatt and Aunt Lela Shumate.

She is survived by children Dianne and Daniel Andrews, grandchildren Robert, Brian and Amy Andrews, great-grandchildren Molly Andrews-Wood, Emily Andrews, Elizabeth Andrews, and Samuel Andrews and great-great grandson Maverick Wood; daughter in laws Tammy Leister Andrews and Carolyn Andrews, cousin Beulah Wyatt and Aunt Lela Shumate; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Viewing will be at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services,  254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD on Wednesday July 23, 2025 from 10am-12pm, funeral services will begin at 12pm. Interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery.
