Tammie Lynn Comegys Obituary

With hearts both heavy and grateful for a life so deeply loved, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a woman of quiet strength, enduring faith, and a love that felt like home to all who knew her.

She carried her initials—TLC—as more than just a name. She truly embodied tender loving care in the way she lived, gave, and loved. Her spirit was gentle yet powerful, a steady light that carried her family through every season of life. Her love didn’t always need words—it was felt in her presence, in the way she showed up, and in the way she made people feel safe just being near her.

She was born June 1, 1962, to the late Maurice and Doris Troxell. She is survived by her devoted son, Michael Warren Comegys Jr., and his wife, Megan, and her loving daughter, Ashleigh Noel Comegys.

Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Camden, Caleb, Olivia, Wesley, Cullen, Bayleigh, and Nataleigh - each a reflection of her love.

She is also survived by her dear siblings, Russell Troxell, Debbie Bower, and Paula Hess, along with many nieces and nephews who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She will be deeply missed, not only as a mother, but as the heart of the family—the one who was always home to us. There are no words strong enough to hold what she meant, only the lifelong absence we will now learn to live with, and the quiet ways we will continue to feel her in everything we do. We love her more than words could ever say, and we will carry her with us for the rest of our lives.

She had a way of making people feel safe just by being herself. Her love was steady, quiet, and unconditional—a presence that grounded everyone around her. Some of her hobbies were watching the view, bingo, watching the orioles and ravens, karaoke, and spending time with her family.

Though we grieve deeply, we trust that she has been called home—resting in peace with the rest of her friends and family who are waiting for her. She was, and will always be, our TLC—our tender loving care.

The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services,

254 East Main Street, Westminster, Maryland. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7 p.m.
