Tawnya Marie Sears, 60, of Westminster, died Saturday, October 25, 2025, at BridgingLife at Sinai Hospital. Born October 9, 1965 in California, she was the daughter of Jean (Dimick) Ridgely (step-father Everett Ridgely) and Bruce Snyder (step-mother Royce Snyder).
Besides her parents, she is survived by children Dan Moehring, Connor Jeffords (Sherri) and Holly Jeffords, sister Tammy Billingslea and brother Jeff Snyder, grandchildren Ashlyn and Indie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was a loving mother and homemaker. Tawnya was a talented artist, often painting beautiful murals for her family, friends and neighbors. She found beauty in ordinary things. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, hunting for treasures and especially hanging out and doing arts and crafts with her nieces and nephews. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1983 where she ran track and field and cross country.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 11:00 am. at Stone Chapel Church, 1448 Stone Chapel Road, New Windsor, MD.
