Teresa Diane Daigle Obituary
Teresa Daigle passed away on March 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, generosity, and deep devotion to her family and community.
Teresa was a talented seamstress who had a lifelong love of sewing. Her skills were shared generously with others, including her work with Guyer’s Theater, where she helped create puppets for Next Door Neighbors and contributed many other handmade creations over the years. Whether sewing costumes, crafting puppets, or teaching others the art, Teresa took great pride in bringing imagination to life through her work.
She also spent many years working as a baker in the Giant bakery, where her love of baking became well known. Friends and family especially looked forward to her annual “Pie Day,” a cherished tradition that brought people together and showcased her remarkable baking talents.
While Teresa was deeply proud of her creative work, the center of her life was always her family. Her children were the light of her life, and she was a constant and loving presence in their lives—from school field trips to serving as a Girl Scout troop leader. Teresa had a generous heart and welcomed many people into her life as family, becoming a surrogate mother and grandmother to those who needed one.
Teresa shared many friendships, in those bloomed traditions that brought the world pumpkin day, a heck of a Halloween party, getting lost, "beeker" and a hug on sight. Her ability to be a friend was incomparable and instilled in her children. She was always ready to help with a problem or mend a heart.
She was also an animal lover who adored her cat, Binx, and her dog, Daisy and many "grand"-animals.
Teresa was preceded in death by her son, Thomas. She is survived by her daughters, Laura and Holly, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched.
Teresa will be remembered for her creativity, kindness, and the deep love she gave so freely to those around her.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, MD. A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m.
