Thomas Joseph Wiedecker, Sr, 88, of Berlin, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at his daughters home in Delmar, DE with his family by his side. Born November 3, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Raymond Charles Wiedecker and Frances Ellen Miner Wiedecker.

Before retiring he was an accounting manager for 37 years for Honeywell Corporation, formally Bendex Field Engineering. He served in the National Guard and Army Reserve for 8 years. As a child he attended Elementary school at Shrine of Little Flower School, graduated high school from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and went on to get a Bachelors Degree in business management at Johns Hopkins University.

He was a member of St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church and was an church usher there and former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon, Md. He was also a member at the Ocean Pines Golf and Country Club, Ocean City Elks Lodge # 2645, the International Business Fraternity – Delta Sigma Pi and a past member of the Colorado State High School Football Officials.

He enjoyed volunteering for 25 years coaching youth football and baseball and 15 years officiating football and baseball. He also enjoyed watching Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens, NCAA Basketball, golf, TV, movies and playing golf.

He is survived by his children Brian, Thomas, Jr., Michael, Terri Cohee and Jennifer Pease; grandchildren Britni Rogers, Michael Wiedecker, II, Carlyn Wiedecker, Mackenzie Wiedecker, Amber Wiedecker, Brian Cohee, Jr., Andy Cohee, Christian Keyes and Joseph Dirzuweit; great-grandchild Lilthe Rogers and Preston Wiedecker; sisters Mary Cowell and Jane Berg; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Paul Wiedecker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St, Westminster, MD 21157. Interment will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
