Vicki Lynn Crampton, age 77 of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. She was born on January 6, 1947 in Frederick, Maryland  Oma Louise Myers and Robert N. Abrecht, Jr.

She worked for the Social Security Administration for most of her career and retired from the US Department of Energy. Although she enjoyed spending time at home where she spent time knitting, quilting and crocheting, she was full of energy. During her retirement she enjoyed traveling, taking cruises to various locations with friends and spending time with family. She loved to cook and was always relied upon to bring her favorite sweet potato dish to all the family holiday gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her twin brother, Gary Wayne Abrecht, her step-father, George A. Myers, and her husband, Gary Crampton.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E Main Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157.

Inurnment will follow at Grace United Church of Christ Cemetary in Taneytown, Maryland.

A luncheon will follow after.
