Virginia G. Boyer

Virginia G. Boyer, 91, of Westminster, died Saturday, August 26, 2023, at her residence.  Born January 20, 1932 in Bristol, VA, she was the daughter of the late Flossie (Weddle) Vicars and Clarence Vicars.  She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Boyer.

She worked as a factory worker for Western Electric.  Virginia enjoyed shopping, housekeeping, cruises and spending time with her family.

She is survived by daughter Diana R. Albert, brother Calvin Vicars, grandchildren Kimberly Simmons (Tim), Jason Albert and fiancé Brittany Talbott, Carolyn Zamora (Ronald), great-grandchildren Phillip Wisniewski, MacKenzie Zamora, Miranda and Carter Zamora and Taylor Simmons.

She was predeceased by son-in-law Michael Albert and numerous siblings.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m.  Private interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
