Virginia Hamilton Obituary

Virginia Spence Mae Hamilton, 80, of Frederick, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Vindobona Nursing Home in Braddock Heights, MD. Born March 1, 1941 in Roanoke Rapids, NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie (Martin) Spence and Edward L. Spence, Sr.

She is survived by children Linwood Hamilton of Delaware, Johnny Hamilton of California and Richard Hamilton of Mt. Airy, MD; sisters Carolyn Ann Broadhurst of Frederick, MD and Susan J. Pernell of Broadneck, VA. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son Rayford L. Hamilton, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in South Hill, Virginia.
