Vonzell Mandarin Cook Obituary

Vonzell Mandarin Cook, 63, of Taneytown, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 15, 2024 Born May 30, 1960, he was the son of the late William Cook and Glennice Cook.

Before retiring he worked at London Fog, and for many years he worked as a truck driver for Fogles. Vonzell had a big heart, and he would help anyone in need. Whether that was a ride, money for food, or the shirt off his back, he would give and do what he could.

He is survived by his children Britny Smith and son-in-law Paul Smith Jr. of Westminster; Brandon Cook of Westminster, and Samantha Cook of Manchester; His brother Gary Moals and sister-in-law Pat Moals of Westminster, as well as his sister Rosalind Cook. He is survived by three grandchildren; Jazmin, Violet and Willow Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews and close family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
