Wayne E Stoner

Wayne E. “Bubba” Stoner, 75, of Mercersburg, PA, died Thursday, December 31, 2020, at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley, WV.  He was born July 14, 1945 to the late Anna (Stachnick) Stoner and Richard Lee Stoner, Sr.  He was the beloved husband of the late Christine Maria Stoner.

He retired from Black and Decker and Maryland Paving.  He was a member of the American Legion and served in the Army.

He is survived by a daughter Missy Stoner of Westminster; son Michael Stoner and wife Kathy of Taneytown; sister Carol Martin of Westminster; grandchildren Kayla, J.B., Austin, and  Allison.  Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Richard Stoner, Jr. and grandson Dylan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Patapsco Cemetery.
