On May 9, 2026 William Thomas Keene III passed way unexpectedly at the age of 66. He was predeceased by his father, William Keene Jr, mother Edna Bartlett, step mother Sue Keene, and his brother Matthew Keene. He is survived by his sister Louanne Calvin (nee Keene), sister Estelle Johnson (nee Keene), and 1/2 sisters Bonnie Sue Woods (nee Keene)  and Michelle Porter (nee Keene).  Bill is survived by multiple nieces and nephews, as well as a great niece and four great nephews. 

Bill’s greatest joy in life was music. He loved singing and dancing. Show tunes and Michael Jackson were his favorites. Bill also loved animated videos and musicals. Merely mentioning WCAO radio, Eydie Gorme and Mel Torme would send Bill into fits of laughter.

Bill was a long time client of Target Educational and Community Services. His Target Family made sure that Bill lived his best life. Trips to Ocean City, The Hippodrome Theater, and concerts featuring his favorite artists filled his life with joy and my sister and I will be forever grateful to the Target community for their love of and care for Bill.
