William “Bill” Alexander McDougall, Jr., 59, of Gettysburg, PA., died on June 3, 2026 at Wellspan York Hospital. Born June 23, 1966 in Maryland, he was the son of William Alexander McDougall, Sr. of Medford, NJ and the late Ruth Anne Cannon McDougall.
He worked as a hotel clerk and a boat captain. He enjoyed being in nature, star gazing, hiking and coffee. He was an avid reader, lover of all different forms of music and had a love for photography.
Besides his father, he is survived by his daughter Abigail Grey McDougall of Edgewood, MD; sister Kathryn (McDougall) Scarbrough and brother-in-law Russell Scarbrough of Rochester, NY; and girlfriend Michelle L. Blevins of Gettysburg, PA.
Services will be private.
