William Franklin Shue Obituary

William "Billy" Franklin Shue, 64, of York, PA, formally of Westminster, died on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at York Hospital. Born on July 31, 1960 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William Harry Shue and Dorothy Louis Luckabaugh Shue. He was the loving husband to Tina Shue.

William was a graduate of Westminster High School. He work as a farm hand and was an EMT in his 20’s for Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department and then worked for Asplundh Tree Experts for 16 years. He always had to be tinkering, he could not sit still. He loved spending time with his family and friends at different events happening in Carroll County.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Dorothy Shue and her fiancee’ Logan Carmine and their children Madison and Brooke Gouker and Hunter Carmine, sons Matthew Shue and Raymond Shue; three nephews and their children. He was their “Crazy Uncle Billy”.

He was predeceased by his sisters Shirley Roelecke, Dolores Shue, Brenda Klinedist and brother-in-law John Wright.
