Willie Milton Edwards Obituary

Willie Milton Edwards, 90, died Friday, October 10, 2025, in Littlestown, PA.  Born November 11, 1934 in Blackridge, VA, he was the son of the late Willie H. Edwards and Estelle Viola Parrot Edwards. 

Born legally blind, he helped on the farm as a child, attended a school for the blind after completing third grade and was determined to succeed.  He climbed telephone poles as a lineman for the D.C. government for 20 years before becoming a manager for Blind Industries and Services of MD in the Carroll County office building until retirement. 

He was a long time member of the Loyal Order of the Moose No. 1381.  He was on the Ritual Team and competed all over the U.S. and Canada.  Willie loved country music, watching NASCAR races and the Washington Redskins.

He is survived by a daughter Belinda M. Nagle and son-in-law Kevin, granddaughters Lindsey Bernal (Antony) and Rebecca Rupnow (Logan), two great-granddaughters, sister Linda Edwards  of LaCrosse, VA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Jeanette A. Walsh Edwards who died May 2017 and his sister Mary Ann Burton. 

Services and interment will be private.
