In her 90 years on this earth, Yashodhara Bharatkumar Maharaja excelled in every role – a worthy daughter, a committed wife, a loving mother and grandmother. In addition, in 21 years as a teacher, she sculpted the lives of thousands of students. Her life can aptly be summarized as an intellectual and spiritual quest. She left an indelible mark on everyone she interacted with. Her departure for her heavenly abode has left a void that is impossible to fill – but we take solace in the fact that she has left behind a legacy that will live on. She is survived by her four children, their spouses, and five grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly.
Services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, MD 21157.
