Glen Lee Simons

Glen Lee Simons, 67, of Sykesville, died Thursday, July 21, 2016, at Carroll Hospital.  Born Oct. 14, 1948 in Reisterstown, he was the son of the late Loney Mack Simons and Pauline Elizabeth Simons.  He is survived by his wife, Maureen A. Simons.

He did masonry work and was also a foreman for Asplundh Tree Service.  He was an outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting pool.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 5 sons Lee, Brian, Jason, Corey, and Brandon, three brothers George, Ronald “Ducky” and Roger.  Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by siblings Roy, Robert “Bobby”, Edward “Mackie”, William “Billy”, Nancy and Richard.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.   Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family defray expenses.
