Luke Stumpf

Luke Lealon Burgess Stumpf, 79, of Columbia, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Gilchrist Hospice of Howard County.  Born July 31, 1937 in Baltimore City, he was the son of the late Andrew Stumpf and Dorothy Wright.

Before retiring he worked at Eastern Airlines. He enjoyed boating, golfing, watching his grandkids play sports, being with family and a good happy hour. 

Luke and Barbara Daum had 4 children, Sue Stumpf and Donnie of Catonsville, Lee Stumpf and Karen of Ellicott City, Sallee Hiles and Brian of Catonsville, Melalee Trovato of San Diego, California. Two brothers Mark Stumpf of Middleton, Ohio, John Stumpf of Melbourne, Florida and 12 grandchildren Collin and Alyssa, Lindsay and Brennan, Sammy and Bridgette, Patrick, Travis and Jackie, Samantha and Tim, Jonathan, Ben, Spenser, Coeli, Jack and Bubba, 5 great grandchildren Gabby, Jesse, Maci and Bash and Joy.

Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Monastery Parish 3801 Old Frederick Rd. at Monastery Ave Baltimore MD. 21229. Interment will be private.

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice 6336 Cedar Lane Columbia, MD. 21044.
