I was very shocked and saddened by the news of Mr. Luke's passing, as I had no idea he had even been sick. I am so sorry to say good-bye to this wonderful man. I have such fond memories of him since I was a little girl. Of all of my dad's friends, Mr. Luke was probably one of my all-time favorites. He was kind, attentive, fun, wise and he was genuine. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. May you find comfort in the beautiful memories that you are left to cherish!

Luke, is so much more than just my cousin. Many memories are going through my mind and they are all good. I knew I could count on Luke. All my love and prayers are with you all. If you need me I will be here for you 24/7. I don’t do FB much so call me. Memories of Barb, Luke and I going to Annapolis in a canoe. Sitting up late and talking with Barb while Luke was at work. Luke and Barb taking me to sell 710 for Dad in 70’ taking care of me when I got sun poisoning in 75’. Sue, Lee and I going to Greenbelt to visit Uncle Jim’s family. Sitting in a Hardy’s ? and having a long talk with Sally. Walking you kids to the store when you lived in the row house. Mel calling me Barbara mess from her crib when she woke up. I could write a book of the Fantastic memories I have of Luke and your family not just this short outline. But I wanted you to know I do remember. The parade.

Luke was a wonderful man. I have a lot of fond memories of him and could count on him being around when the grandkids were playing a sport. Trust me there were many games. Amber was just another granddaughter to him. Sending each and everyone of his blood family my sincere condolences and prayers at this difficult time.
