Dear Jeri,
I am remembering your gentleness, kindness and clarity in the encounters we had a Feldenkrais colleagues. Especially that beautiful afternoon in your farm house with the trees outside and we exploring a hands on-lesson and practicing with each other.
Blessed be your memory.
Dear Leo and dear Alex, I did not meet you, only heard about you. It is hard to loose a beloved one, but it looks like, Jeri is present even when she is not here in her physical body. My warmest condolences, Jutta

Leo and Alex,

What a hole you must feel! I feel it and I only took Awareness through Movement with Jeri for three years. What impressed me most was her directness, her integrity and her deep commitment to improving health of those around her. We have all lost a wonderful presence! May her spirit soar.

Jeri was a wonderful person! I met her through her Feldenkrais classes several years ago. She was such an encouraging, caring person. I will miss her so much. Praying for comfort for you, Leo, and for Alex.

Dear Leo, I only met Jeri once and that was memorable: her smile, hospitality, great food, and empowering spirit. Your descriptions go further still to give me entrance to her soul. I promise I will open my heart to many people that are different from me and when I do I will remember Jeri. In them I will see my face, and hers, and yours, and imagine the One that holds us all.

Leo and Alex,
We all met at Montessori in 1993. Jeri and I worked several projects together and what a hoot. Always fun and always well done. It was a treat seeing Jeri at The Ascension and Mistletoe Mart. She will be missed. What a big hole in everyone's heart. All my love and hugs to the both of you.

I am not at all surprised that Jeri asks us to open our hearts to embrace the “other,” in her honor and memory. What a wonderful reflection of the person Jeri was, of the sense of adventure, awe and joy she brought to every encounter.

Leo and Alex, thanks to Jeri, my world expanded to embrace you both. I look forward to time with you, to wine and stories and love - in Jeri's memory, and in our own.

Very much love,
Cat

As I find my heart heavy with sadness I know Jeri is smiling and laughing, not wanting us to be sad, but celebrating her life, her joys and her passions. I am going to endeavor to follow Jeri's request and daily attempt to reach across that chasm of mistrust and fear to embrace the “other” and be joyously surprised to find in them a reflection of my own face. What an amazing way to celebrate and remember my friend.

Leo and Alex,
I am so moved by the obituary you wrote Leo. Anyone who has been within Jeri's radius leaves feeling hugged. What a blessing to have experienced that! Pamela Malkin (Montessori connection)

Dear Leo and Alex,
Jeri was a wonderful person who made everyone feel comfortable from the second they met her. I knew that to be true the moment I met her in 1997. She astounded me with how worldly she was and educated on every topic. She made my world larger with each conversation every time she came to see me. Then she introduced me to Leo and Alex and I remember thinking this is the smartest, nicest, coolest, most experienced, most happening, funniest family I've ever met. Our whole office family loved her dearly and were exponentially broadened and spiritually enriched by our great fortune to have been able to count her as a friend for the past 20 years. Please come to us at any time for anything that we may be able to assist you with. We love you Jeri and that will continue in our thoughts and prayers forever.
