Marjorie Mary Eckenrode

Marjorie Mary Eckenrode, 92, of Sykesville, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Brookdale.  Born August 13, 1924 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Angela Weiland and Arthur Eckenrode. 

Before retiring she worked 37 years for the Social Security Administration.  She was a resident of Carroll County for 51 years and graduated from Seton High School and the College of Notre Dame.

She is survived by nephews John Eckenrode, Jr. and wife Linda Rabben, Thomas Eckenrode and wife Barbara and James Eckenrode, nieces Mary Angela White and husband Wayne, Margaret Mary Windsor and Kathleen E. Conwell. Also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother John E. Eckenrode.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster.  Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery in Baltimore.
