To all of you, I am so saddened by your loss of such a terrific father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and husband. Never have I seen so much love and devotion from Uncle Richard for his family.. I always remember him with such a big smile. and lots of hugs. His love and devotion to Aunt Sheila was above and beyond the scale of most couples. I know this is a loss that will be felt by everyone that knew him. All our love from Kentucky. We will miss you Uncle Richard.

Richard was married to my cousin, Sheila. I live in North Carolina; but, my family visited once or twice a year when I was a child. Richard and Sheila always kept my brother, Robbie and I; they treated us as though we were their children. Richard played the guitar many times and we sang old gospel songs. I treasure those memories! Rest in peace, Richard. May you be joined with Sheila and live in peace forever. All our love.
