Sophie was such a kind lady. We worked together at Westminster Ridge several years back, then I ended up meeting her granddaughter, Lindsey at Carroll Community. It's such a small world! She was such a kind soul to be around. She could run circles around me, she reminded me so much of my granny. One day at work she brought in a big stuffed frog for me to give my son, he was around 18 months at the time. She loved looking at his pics and me telling her stories about him. He is now almost 9 and still has that frog, he recently passed it down to his 4 year old sister who sleeps with it in her bed every night. I always think about her every time I see it. Even though we were many years apart in age, I have an old soul too and was very grateful to have known Sophie. I lost my granny in March of this year and everyday is still hard, but I hope that your family can find peace during this difficult time. I am sure you will hear many stories of how she left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
