Todd Alan Devilbiss

Todd Alan Devilbiss, 44 of Taneytown, passed away peacefully from cancer on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the Dove House, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 6, 1971 in Towson.  He was the son of Carol Mandrell Chapis and (Papa Bear) John Chapis of Seaford, DE and Newell Leon Devilbiss of Spring Grove, PA.

He graduated from Westminster High School in 1989.  He was an HVAC tech, enjoyed fishing , animals, cooking, helping others, long drives, the beach, and his canine kids, Jesse, Hank, and Leah.

Todd is survived by his Fiancé Erin Weir and her two children Justin and Kristen of Taneytown, one sister Lillian (Lil) Conover and significant other Jeff Seliga of Sykesville, half brothers Brian Devilbiss of SC and Jeffrey Devilbiss of MD, favorite niece Kayla Conover of Sykesville, 2 nephews Nick and Tyler Devilbiss, step-brother Stephen Chapis, and step-sister Stephanie Buchert. 

He was predeceased by his son Brandon Joshua Devilbiss and maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 3:00 P.M at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A. 254 E. Main St., Westminster, where the family will receive friends from 1-3 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Carroll Hospice, 252 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
