Judith Ann "Judy" (Hutton) Davis

Judith Ann “Judy” Davis, 71, of Mt. Airy, died Monday, June 12, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Mt. Airy.  Born September 17, 1945, in Bosie, Idaho, and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Robert Hutton and Dorothy Pendlebury Hutton.

 Survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald W. Davis.

Before retiring she was a Teacher at Kemptown  Elementary School.  She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mt. Airy and previously Montgomery United Methodist Church in Damascus, where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.  She enjoyed making cards for family and friends and exercising.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, William Daniel Davis and wife Stephanie of Westminster.  One brother, William Hutton and wife Linda of Lexington Michigan, sisters, Susan McCormick and husband Paul of Napa Valley, Martha Mackinnon and husband Charles of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, 2 grandchildren Riley and Rowan Davis of Westminster.   Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Calvary United Methodist Church, South Main Street, Mount Airy, MD. Interment will be private.
