I send out my sincere sympathy to all of Ella's family. I was privileged to know Tom and meet the family at the time of his death. I last saw Ella at Westminster Ridge where I was singing with a barbershop chorus. We had a delightful conversation as we sat on the front porch of the entrance. God's peace is with all of you and you remember and grieve. I was pastor at Westminster UM Church from 1992-2007.

My deepest sympathy to all the Veditz family. I just heard about Mrs. Veditz''s passing. She was one of the nicest people I ever met in my life. She always had a house full of kids running in and out, her mother living with them too, but Mrs. Veditz was always smiling and it seemed nothing upset her.

When my 2 sons were little, and on the days they were driving me crazy, I often wondered how Mrs. Veditz did it with more than just 2. She was a real role model as how to be a Mother for me, but I probably wasn''t as good as she was at it. I will always have fond memories of her back in those days and I feel blessed for having to have known her.

When Bob e mailed me about your mother''s death I was so sorry. Words really cannot express the loss of one''s Mother, no matter how old you are. I will especially miss her smile. I do not think I can remember picturing her face without one. She truly was an inspiration with her zest for life and everyone and everything in it. I will think of her often with happy thoughts. Love you all. dj
