Gilbert George Seibel

Gilbert G. Seibel, 76, of Finksburg, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at his residence of prostate cancer. Born April 2, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Mae E. (Reinheimer) Seibel and Gilbert J. Seibel. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kay Seibel.

He was employed 35 years with the National Cash Register Company. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church where he was an Extraordinary Minister of Communion. He was a Packard automobile enthusiast and was a member of several Packard car clubs.

Besides his wife, he is survived by son Jeffrey W. Seibel and wife, Tracey, of Westminster; daughter, Karen Dyas, and husband, John, of Union Bridge; brothers Joseph G. Seibel and John F. Seibel of Pittsburgh; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by grandson, Branden M. Seibel.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Interment will be private.
