Samuel Frank Howard, 93, of Hampstead, died Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Westminster. Born February 21, 1919 in Cockeysville, he was the son of the late Raymond Howard and Pearl Tracey Howard. He was the husband of Ella Louise Howard, his wife of 68 years.
Before retiring he worked for Black and Decker for 39 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife is daughter and son-in-law Marlene Bolt and Larry of Manchester, son and daughter-in-law Warren E. and Barbara Howard of Glen Rock, Pa., Samuel B. and Judy Howard of Taneytown, Md., 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter Helen Virginia Howard ,8 siblings, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M on Tuesday at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A, with rev Louis Piel officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Phoenix, Maryland.
The family will receive friends from 11 until the time of service at the funeral home.
